In general, proposals are valid for three months. All hour estimates are based on a Time and Materials basis. K2 Website Design (“K2”) requires 50% of the total payment upfront, with the remaining 50% due upon launch of the website.

Authorization to begin work is granted once K2 receives the initial 50% payment and the Proposal has been electronically signed by the CLIENT. Hosting and maintenance fees begin once the CLIENT signs the Proposal electronically.

The CLIENT agrees to provide K2 with feedback within two weeks of receiving the draft website. If no feedback is provided within this timeframe, the remaining 50% payment becomes due. All payments made to K2 are non-refundable.

K2 reserves the right to refuse service to any individual, company, or organization at any time. All website design deliverables remain the property of K2 until the site is launched.

K2 reserves the right to display “Powered by K2 Website Design” and the K2 logo in the footer of the CLIENT’s website and to showcase the completed website in its portfolio.

Fees described in this Proposal do not include domain name costs. Monthly hosting and maintenance fees may increase at K2’s discretion; however, no increase will occur without CLIENT approval.

K2 will make reasonable efforts to ensure functionality and uptime of the CLIENT’s website but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. All services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any express or implied warranties.

The CLIENT assumes full responsibility for all website content and for complying with applicable laws. K2 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data. K2’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the CLIENT.

The CLIENT agrees to indemnify and hold K2 harmless from any claims arising from use of the website or breach of these terms. K2 is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, or third-party service interruptions.
